Driving Directions -- Hinsdale Challenge

From the North Shore to your first match at:

SCC – Salt Creek Club GPS: 850N. Madison St., Hinsdale, IL 60521

  • South on I-294 to about mile marker 28 and exit onto Ogden Ave. – West
  • Proceed west to the 3rd stoplight and turn RIGHT onto Madison St.
  • In about a block, turn LEFT into the club entranceand then left into the parkinglot

KLM -- Katherine Legge Memorial Park 6001 S. County Line Rd., Hinsdale, IL 60521

(or the intersection of 60th St. & County Line Road)

  • South on I-294 to about mile marker 22 and exit onto I-55 South – St Louis
  • Stay in RIGHT lane through the toll booth and take ramp for I-55 South
  • Continue to stay in RIGHT LANE and exit onto County Line Rd. – North
  • 0.7 miles after the 3rd stoplight, turn right into Katherine Legge Mem. Park
  • Keep bearing to the right and you will find the courts in the SE corner of the park

HGC -- Hinsdale Golf Club GPS: 154 Chicago Ave., Clarendon Hills, IL

  • South on I-294 to about mile marker 28 and exit onto Ogden Ave. – West
  • Proceed west to the 3rd stoplight and turn LEFT onto Madison St.
  • Continue south on Madison to the 3rd stop sign and turn RIGHT onto Chicago Ave.
  • Proceed west for 1 mile and, just beyond that 2nd stop light -- and just beyond the club entrance -- TURN RIGHT into the next driveway (just before the school crossing sign) and park. Walk west between the maintenance buildings to the courts

From the City: Go west on I-290 (Eisenhower Expy) beyond Wolf Rd. and EXIT LEFTfor I-294 South and then follow instructions above.

Driving times from I-294 and O’Hare: 20 minutes to Salt Creek and

30 minutes to KLM and Hinsdale Golf Club

From KLM to Salt Creek Club: GPS: 850N. Madison St., Hinsdale, IL 60521

  • Go back to the main parking lot and exit from the northwest corner of that lot
  • Turn RIGHT (north) onto County Line Road
  • At the first light, TURN LEFT onto 55th Street
  • Just before the 4th light, angle right for Rt 83 – No9rth
  • In 2 miles, exit right for Ogden Ave.
  • At the bottom of the ramp, turn left onto Ogden.
  • At the first light turn left onto Madison
  • In less than 2 blocks, turn LEFT into the club entranceand then left into the parkinglot.
  • The lunch will be in the clubhouse directly north of the parking lot

From Hinsdale Golf Club to Salt Creek Club: GPS: 850N. Madison St., Hinsdale, IL 60521

  • Exiting the club, TURN LEFT onto Chicago Ave.
  • Continue east beyond the two stoplights and then to the second stop sign
  • TURN LEFT onto Madison and continue north beyond the light at Ogden
  • in a little over a block north of Ogden, turn LEFT into the club entranceand then left into the parkinglot.
  • The lunch will be in the clubhouse directly north of the parking lot

From Salt Creek to KLM GPS: 6001 S. County Line Rd., Hinsdale, IL 60521

(or the intersection of 60th St. & County Line Road)

  • Leaving the club, TURN RIGHT onto Madison
  • At the 1st light, turn right onto Ogden
  • At the 2nd light, turn right onto Rt 83 – South
  • In 2 miles, exit right for 55th Street and at the top of the ramp, turn right
  • At the 5th light, turn right onto County Line Road
  • In ½ mile, turn left into Katherine Legge Memorial Park
  • Keep bearing to the right and you will find the courts in the SE corner of the park

From Salt Creek to the Hinsdale Golf Club: GPS: 850N. Madison St., Hinsdale, IL 60521

  • Leaving the club, TURN RIGHT onto Madison
  • Continue south on Madison beyond Ogden to the 3rd stop sign
  • TURN RIGHT onto Chicago Ave. and proceed west for 1 mile
