10min. / Let’s Play（p.32）Simon Says Game
・HRT asks the class to play the Simon Says Game. HRT & ALT show the class how to play it.
ALT: When I say, “Simon says, ‘Stand up!’” for example, you have to stand up. But when I only say “Stand up!” without “Simon says,” you don’t have to stand up.
HRT: Are you ready? Now, let’s try!
ALT: Simon says, stand up!
Students: (standing up)
ALT: Very good! OK! Sit down!
Students: (don’t sit down)
Student A: (sits down)
HRT: A-san no sorry, don’t sit down .
ALT: All right! You almost got it!
HRT: Now, let’s continue.
ALT: Simon says, “Turn right!”
Students: (turning right)

15min. / Let’s Listen（p.30）Guessing What
・HRT asks the class to open their textbooks to pages 30-31. Teachers & students make sure where four characters are on the picture.
ALT: Let’s find four people; Bob, Mai, Ken, and Julia. Where are they in your textbooks? Where are Bob and Mai? Where are Ken and Julia?
Students: (looking for the four characters in their textbooks)
ALT: Now, let’s listen to the CD. Guess where they are.
・Listening to the CD#32-35, students guess where each person is. After having the class listens to the CD again, HRT asks students to write each place where they are, in the spaces.
・HRT asks some students to present their answers. When students present their answers to the class, teachers check whether those answers are correct or not, give some advice, and praise the student if they are correct.

5min. / Let’s Chant（p.30）”Where Is the Station?”
・Showing the cards and doing gestures, HRT & ALT show the class how to do the chant “Where Is the Station?”
・HRT asks the class to do the chant in time to the CD with gestures.
・In time to the CD with gestures, teachers & students do the chant together.

10min. / Let’s Listen（p.32）Guessing What
・HRT asks the class to open their textbooks to page 73 and to cut out the picture cards from that page. Students cut out their cards.
・Teachers show the class how to play this game.
HRT: Now, look at your textbooks pages 32-33.
ALT: Do you see blank spaces in the town? You see Bob, Julia, Ken, and Mai? They are going somewhere. Listen to the CD. Guess where they are going to. When you’ve got it, put your card on the blank space.
・Listening to the CD and guessing, students put their cards on the textbook. HRT asks some students to present their answers to class and all students check their answers together.
3min. / Consolidation
・HRT comments on the class.
・ALT also comments on the class.
・Finally, teachers say goodbye to the class.
