TO RECOGNIZE MS. ANGELA CHRISTOPHER OF GREENWOOD COUNTY FOR HER WORK AS FOUNDER AND EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR OF RAVEN, INC., AND TO WISH HER MUCH SUCCESS AS SHE PURSUES A DOCTORATE DEGREE AT EMORY UNIVERSITY.

Whereas, since its beginnings as a program that provided workshops on children with Attention Deficit Disorder at local child care centers and technical colleges, to designing and constructing a building to provide services on a full time basis, RAVEN has flourished and received grants and support from the Self Family Foundation, the Department of Education, and many other sources; and
Whereas, Angela is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., and has been named Business Professional Woman of the Year for Greenwood County and First Runnerup for Business Professional Woman of the Year for the State of South Carolina; and
