Please retain these instructions for future reference. These instructions are also available in other formats.
General description
These easy-to-see wall clocks have an analogue face with a black surround, a white face and large black numbers. The hour and minute hands are black and the second hand is red.
CC23 - Large Clock is 35cm diameter (13.78”) approximately.
CC33 - Small Clock is 30cm diameter (11.45”) approximately.
Getting started
Inserting the battery into the large clock – CC23
Turn the clock over and on the back you will feel a raised bottle-shape surround with a thin neck at the tip. Within this area is a raised square shape – this is the battery compartment. Remove the whole cover from this square area to expose the battery compartment and the time set dial. The clock uses one AA battery and this should be inserted into the bottom section of this area, with the negative (flat) terminal positioned to the left into the battery holder.
Inserting the battery into the small clock - CC33
Turn the clock over and on the back you will feel three raised round shapes situated in a triangle. In between these round shapes is a raised square shape – this is the battery compartment. Remove the whole cover from this square area to expose the battery compartment and the time set dial. The clock uses one AA battery and this should be inserted into the bottom section of this area, with the negative (flat) terminal positioned to the left into the battery holder.
Setting the time
After inserting the battery into the clock turn the time set dial, located just above and to the left of the battery. Turn the dial anti-clockwise to move the clock hands clockwise and vice-versa. Once you have set the correct time, replace the square plastic battery cover over the battery compartment and time set dial.
Wall mount
Both clocks are designed to be mounted on a wall. On the back of the large clock, at the tip of the raised bottle-shape surround is the wall mount catch, which should sit over the screw fixed into your wall.
On the small clock, the wall mount catch is the large round protrusion sitting directly above the square-shaped battery compartment. Effectively, this is the tip of the triangle of the three raised round parts surrounding the battery compartment.
Battery replacement
When the clock stops working normally please replace the battery. It is recommended that you use an Alkaline AA battery with these clocks. Always dispose of old batteries safely.
A replacement battery can be purchased from RNIB under product code CP03.
