SystmOneTracey reported that SystmOne is now installed and functioning; this has been a major transfer of all data from the previous system, and has also involved staff training. One of the benefits will be that patient information is available to Out-of-hours providers, Community teams, etc. There will be just one single record for each patient. 13/15 practices in NW Leics have, or are having, this system installed.
PPG Bank Account All forms have been signed and returned to Lloyds Bank, and Barbara reported that the account should be ready for use in the next few days.

For next summer, a Tea Party could be planned for each village in the MMU catchment area. These events would provide an opportunity to inform villagers of what groups are available to them locally; to begin social networks for some; to give some key information about what the MMU can offer, etc. Teas and crafts would be available. These events would be for all ages.
Dr Swaebe suggested that we invite the Vicar of Measham to a meeting soon to share some of these ideas.
Improving our publicity
The PPG acknowledged that more can be done to strengthen the way we publicise the groups and give out key information.
For example, the Facebookpage advertising the Walking Football gained 377 hits, and the Walking Group 630 hits.
Before the next meeting, agreed that we draw up a list of all local publications (including Village Breeze, Measham Messenger, 3 Views News etc) and decide how to make better use of these. In addition, establish who is responsible for the various village websites in the area.
The Village Information Posters are effective, but agreed that in the New Year, we will try to have these printed and ready for distribution for the beginning of each month. Also we need to review where these are currently being displayed.
Meriel has contacted Michelle who is willing to help design any posters for us.
Tracey suggests that a logo for all our publicity would give it a sense of identity.
Sue Ross (Resident Involvement Officer) is currently building relations with local groups who arrange activities so that they can advertise each other’s activities.
Measuring Success
Dr Randev and Katherine Brown have provided examples of evaluation tools which would help in measuring the benefits of being involved in various activities. Peter and Philip will look at these in more detail and provide for the next meeting some suggestions as to what might be most appropriate for our groups.
Targeting Support
Tracey explained that work will begin in the New Year in trying to target more effectively the support and services provided by the MMU.
