EASTER NEWSLETTER 2017
As we finish for Easter for a much needed break the committee would like to briefly update you on what has been happening in setting, and the fantastic events which have taken place.
This half term, the children have looked at “Superheroes, Monsters and Aliens”. They have been doing some invisible super hero writing. The children have been talking about healthy foods that super hero’s may eat and trying different healthy snacks. Children have enjoyed making model rockets and learning a special song all about space.
Children especially enjoyed Gruffalo week! They of course enjoyed reading the story and making Gruffalo crumble. Throughout the week children enjoyed many Gruffalo themed activities such as making masks, making Gruffalo playdough and decorating Gruffalo cakes.
Michelle, Helen, Tracy, Emma and Joanna have provided some brilliant activities once again this term, and the Committee would like to thank them for their continued commitment and dedication to our Pre-School.

There was a fantastic disco and children enjoyed showing off their dance moves. There was lots of yummy food available to buy and the children definitely enjoyed the tattoos and glow sticks. Library book borrowing scheme:
The library book borrowing scheme has been a big success with the children and they are enjoying borrowing the books and the stories they are learning. It is essential that
the books are returned to pre-school on change over days Thursday or Friday. This term we have several children that have had a book for a few weeks and if they do not get sent back in, they are unable to choose a new book which can be upsetting.
