PAKISTAN VISA INFORMATION
All US citizens require visa to visit Pakistan. There are no exceptions. FOR ALL TYPES OF VISA, PLEASE COMPLETE THIS APPLICATION. For non-US passport holders visa will be issued to only those possessing residence status (permanent residence, work visa, student visa, business visa, investor visa) in the US. Visitors to the US will not be issued visa. Please contact the Consulate regarding visa fees for non US passport holders.
REQUIREMENTS
ALL TRAVELERS:
1.Passport
2.Proof of legal permanent residence in USA, visa or Alien Registration Card (for non US passport holders).
3.2-passport size photos front view with white background.
4.Passport must be valid for at least six months from travel date.
5.Visit visa fee (for US passport only) is $ 120.00 and business visa fee US $ 180, payable only in the form of Money Order or Cashiers Checks to ‘The Consulate General of Pakistan’. Cash and Personal checks are NOT acceptable. Holders of not US passports may contact the Consulate for obtaining visa fees.
6.Prepaid return envelope for applications sent by mail. US Postal Service Express or Certified Mail is preferable.
Business Visa: A letter of invitation and a letter from the sponsoring company are required. We regret that without such a letter, the visa can not be issued.
Student Visa: A visa can only be issued after the approval of the Ministry of Education & the Ministry of Interior of Pakistan. We regret that we can not make an exception to this condition.
Visa for NGO Representatives: The visa can only be issued after the approval of the Ministry of Interior of Pakistan. We regret that we can not make an exception to this condition.
The Consulate will issue five year multiple entry visa to US citizens of Pakistani origin. In order to avail this facility, the applicants must provide copy of the first three pages of their old Pakistani passport or Pakistani ID. For children born in USA, please provide parent’s Pakistani ID or passport and children’s birth certificate.
ALL FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE EVEN IF VISA IS DENIED.
OFFICE HOURS:
Visa applications in person will be accepted between the hours of 09:30 am to 12:30 pm Monday through Thursday and 09.30 am to 12.00 pm on Friday. The pick up time is between 03.30 pm to 04.00 pm.
