The Department of Communication organizes it annual Internship and Job Fair during the spring to bring representatives from organizations on campus to interviewundergraduate and graduatestudents for internships and full-time positions.

Students are asked to register and submit their resumes via Osprey CareerLink. If there is a student whointerests you, please feel free to contact them directly using the contact information provided on their resume to arrange a meeting on the day of the event. A room has been made available for interviewing selected candidates.

Registration Information

Register online via Osprey CareerLink

(If you already have an Osprey CareerLink account, you can log in and then register. If you do not have an Osprey CareerLink Employer account, you must create one before registering online.)

Layout/What to Bring

The ballroom will be set up trade-show style with a table and two chairs. An individual room has been made available for interviewing if you wish to speak privately with selected candidates. Please mention if you will require a power outlet under “special instructions” on the registration form. You will have access to wireless internet if needed.

Please plan to bring the following: business cards, table skirt, company information, applications, lap tops or video screens with looped information about your organizations, etc.

Location/Parking

The Student Union Ballroom is located in Building 58 on the third floor. Designated parking will be reserved on the fourth floor of the Arena parking garage next to Building 58. The area will be marked by orange cones and an attendant will be on hand to provide directions. Please refer to the campusmapfor the building and parking location.

UNF now offers an electronic Pay-by-Plate kiosk system so you will receive a code for parking. Please limit to one vehicle per company. Additional Pay-by-Plate virtual parking passes may be purchased at the kiosks. See the UNF website for additional information.

Directions/Loading & Unloading

For your convenience, you may unload at the 20-minute loading/unloading zone in front of the Student Union or in one of the vendor loading parking spaces. After unloading, vehicles should be parked in the adjacent parking garage as directed above.

Directions to Student Union (Bldg. 58):

From I-295:

  • Exit at UNF Drive (see map)
  • Follow UNF Drive around the curve (do not turn at the light) to Bldg. 58 (Student Union) on the right
  • Parking garage is just beyond Bldg. 58, also on the right

From Kernan:

  • Turn onto Alumni Drive(see map)
  • Turn right at the light onto UNF Drive and follow the curved road
  • The parking garage and Bldg. 58 will be on your left
