- Honors Course Stipend for 2015-2016
- We will be offering a $100 stipend for FHHS members (but not Honors College members) that successfully complete one of the honors courses again next year.

- Volunteer/Hours Opportunities
- FHHS Bowling Night! – Thursday (October 22nd 9:30-12:30).
- The cost to get in is $5 and that covers all the bowling you can do and pizza!
- Swype out Hunger – October 24th. Create a team and help with a good cause!
- If you are doing this with another organization you can still count it as an hour.
- Etiquette Dinner
- 6:30 on November 3rd. Come enjoy a free 5 course meal and learn how to properly use all those forks and knives at fancy dinner tables.
- We will have a short meeting before hand. Please RSVP by Nov. 1st if you would like to attend (by replying to this email) and if you have any dietary restrictions.
- Reminders:
- Featured Professors Nomination – Nominate a professor that you feel deserves to be recognized!
- FHHS Scholarship Application – Deadline is October 20th (tonight!)
- Speakers Bureau – Tim Chapman at the Foundation is looking for a group of people to pull from when he goes on trips to visit donors. Let me know if you want to help.
- Peer Reading – Every other Wednesday (Next is October 28th from 3:30-4:30) at O’Loughlin Elementary
- Committee Time
- Social – Get ideas for End of the Year Party/Kick off to finals. Finalize details about bowling night.
- Academic – Discuss tutoring program details.
- Appointed someone to contact the Kelly Center so that we can find more information about what they provide.
- Publicity – Come up with designs for GRE signs (time-less – “tonight”). Finalize newsletter template. Discuss articles and pictures for events coming up and from the past.
- Development – Discuss Foundation meeting with Tim last week. Discuss Development Fund rating from last meeting – anything that needs to be changed/added to the process?
- Discussed the next Foundation meeting
- Scholarship Initiatives – Dr. Joseph Romance
- If you are even remotely considering applying for a nationally competitive scholarship please meet with Dr. Romance during the meeting!
