Angeline Jackson (Samford University) presided over the meeting.

The next meeting will be held on Wednesday, April 8, 2015 at 11:00 a.m., at Old Overton Club.
OLD BUSINESS
· Mike Terry will look into the availability of a classroom to hold a DB2 class.
o The DB2 class is still needed with Regions, still checking with vendors
o Reaching out to Thinkdata Solutions to see if we can find a classroom to support this class.
· Bill discussed some possible new uses for the web site such as:
o Attempting to get the new feature live.
o When a non-BLUG member expresses an interest in a class, send email notification to the class coordinator and their company representative.
o Registrations by BLUG members
§ Notify company representatives and class coordinators when a person is added to the roster
§ Lock it down after deadline so no additions or deletions can occur
· There is a need for a COBOL class.
o Will set a class date in the April committee meeting.
o Class still being discussed as needed by the membership. Regions is going to confirm the number of students they would have.
o Tammy High would be the instructor.
· Mike may have an interest in JavaScript training.
o Blake knows a teacher and will reach out to him at Accelebrate (Eric Ladd).
o Checking on equipment needs and room location.
· Discussions regarding the Members list:
o Jefferson County – The Executive Member listed, Wayne Cree, is retired. Craig asked Barbara where to send the BLUG membership renewal for Jefferson County. Someone needs to contact Jefferson County to find out the proper contact.
o All members except Alagasco have paid.
o New Alagasco Representatives have been identified.
§ The new Education Committee member will be Deborah Banks
§ The new Executive Committee member will be Keith Jennings .
· New Java Offering.
o Angeline to send information for Java Classes for January 2015
o Discussed holding a new offering of Java over the summer break with Greg/Samford
o Interest from Blue Cross
· Angeline mentioned that she has a need for Powershell class. Bill may have a teacher. Is there any other interest? (Open)
o See if we know anyone who teaches this, Samford and Regions together may have 6 students
· TSQL Training
o Classes are filling and will be held, first class May 6th.
· SSRS Training (9/24/15)
o Interest expressed by team, currently have 4 registered.
