A MESSAGE FROM THE PRESIDENT
The Northwest Ohio Antique Machinery Assn. held their annual show August 4-7, 2005 at the Hancock Co. Fairgrounds in Findlay Ohio. The feature tractor was John Deere and other related equipment. The Ohio Two Cylinder Club was the guest club at this show.
The members of our club were well represented at this show. Our members brought 105 pieces of equipment and tractors to the show. The count was 200 John Deere tractors, 17 gas engines, 30 pedal tractors and 15 implements. Also a very nice display of wrenches and 6 showcases of John Deere memorabilia and toys. I would like to thank The Northwest Ohio Antique Machinery Assn. Officers, Board Members and Members for their great hospitality.
The September meeting will be at Kenny and Marilyn Smith’s, Sept. 11 at 1:30 PM. There will be a pork chop dinner following the meeting. Please make every effort to attend. There will be a map in the newsletter showing the location of Kenny and Marilyn’s house.
The Farm Science Review will be September 20, 21, 22 at the Molly Caren Center just West of Lafayette, Ohio on US Rt 40 London, Ohio. Stop by the Club’s display next to the Morton Building and see us. That’s all for now.
