4-H SENIOR SCHOLARSHIP REQUIREMENTS
Up to two $500awards will be presented to graduating high school seniors this year for Warren County 4H’ers
Selection Process:
Applications are available at the Extension website. Applications are due to the Warren County Extension Office (in a sealed envelope labeled “4H Foundation Scholarship”). The paperwork is due by 4:30 pm on May 31, 2017. Electronic submissions may be made to with the same deadlines.
Applications will be reviewed by the 4-H Foundation Committee to determine which applicants are eligible and winners will be selected. Announcement of scholarships will be made during the Warren County Fair Family night, held on Sunday, July 30th, 2017 beginning at 7:00 in the cattle arena.
Eligibility Requirements:
4-H’er must have been a member of aWarren County 4-H clubfor five years, including their Jr. & Sr. years in high school.
4-H’er must have exhibited at the Warren County Fair.
4-H’er must have participated in a community service project.
4-H’er must be enrolled in a post high school education program.
4-H’er must submit a 4-H Scholarship Application.
4-Her’er must provide a copy of the first semester’s college transmittal for payment of scholarship.
4-H’er must submit two letters of recommendation along with the application.

Please submit two letters of recommendation written by a non-relative (such as a school official, teacher, church or 4-H leader, as examples only). Please ask the writer to address your qualities of leadership and citizenship.
