Caribbean Cream Limited IPO
Stocks and Securities Limited (SSL) is pleased to announce an Initial Public Offering (IPO) for Caribbean Cream Limited (CCL) as the ice cream manufacturer seeks admission to the Jamaica Stock Exchange (JSE) Junior Market in 2012. The company is focused on the economic ice cream Market.
SSL’spartnership with FirstCaribbean International Bank Jamaica continues; theywill facilitate the distribution of Caribbean Cream’s IPO via its 13 branch network island wide.
About Caribbean Cream Limited:
Caribbean Cream Limited is the brainchild of Chris Clarke the company’s CEO and, was incorporated in 2006. Chris Clarke is no stranger to the ice cream industry being the son of Carol Clarke-Webster, the Managing Director and founder of Scoops Unlimited the manufacturers of the world renowned Devon House Ice Cream.
Caribbean Cream manufactures and distributes ice cream and ice cream related products under the “KREMI” brand. The company manufactures twenty different flavours as well as ice cream cakes. They are also the distributors of the Flavorite brand frozen novelties from Trinidad.
The company headquarters is located at3 South Road Kingston 10, St. Andrew, Jamaica. A distribution plant is also located in Montego Bay.Caribbean Cream currently employs 61 persons.
The proceeds of the IPO will primarily be used to expand and modernise processes,increase working capital as well as to increase economies of scale while constantly improving products and services.
