Report to OOD

1Open up the lounge and draw back curtains.

2Meter reading for OOD return form (in cupboard in mens changing rooms) Make a note of it on the OOD return form

3Help with getting RIBs afloat

4You are responsible for checking in and out the hire of boats.

  1. Ensure the form is correctly filled out with full details and a damage deposit is taken (even if hire is free for racing)
  2. Please accompany the members to their boats and make sure they only take the equipment listed for that particular boat. If there is anything missing or damaged report this to the OOD for a note to be made in their report. Do not mix and match boats and equipment and do not remove any fitting etc from one boat to another. Fill in the pre/post check sheet (available from the OOD folder)
  3. When the member has finished the hire of their boat it is your responsibility to ensure the member has washed down and packed the boat away correctly and they have stored the sails and foils back in their correct location.
  4. Sign off the pre/post check sheet ONLY when you are happy everything is correctly back and no damage has occurred.

5 Help members get afloat, especially single handers

6Checking any guests are signed in. Members have all been provided with membership cards and no one should be offended to be asked to provide these. On busy days please take the time to walk around, introduce yourself and ask if you could see their cards.

7Visit the campsite to confirm all visitors are signed in and paid for.( a list will be provided of those paid for online)

8At end of day - Close curtains, turn off TV/radio/cd and tidy lounge, lock patio doors, turn off all lights and heaters, close and secure shutters to lounge and patio.

9Clear away any Kitchen items into the kitchen and ensure the shutters are closed and the Urn I turned off.

10Count closing till floats. Ensure the cash details from the till, fees and any other expenses incurred including receipts are recorded on the OOD return form.
