  • Anticipated recruitment of 60 students per year
  • A different title is required for the Cert HE and Dip HE as ‘Paramedic’ is a protected title by the HCPC and can only be awarded for thefull 360 credits
  • Students will be able to register on the Cert HE as it will provide professional recognition of achievement
  • The Dip HE is not an intended award and does not offer professional or employment qualification status
  • 67% new modules of 240 credits
  • A joint appointment with EEAST has been made

  • The course does not requirestudents to have an accredited first degree in Psychology and will therefore be attractive to international students
  • Should the course attract high numbers of students the department may require an appointment of additional academic staff to maintain staff to student ratios required by the British Psychological Society
