TREASURER’S REPORT
· Kelly presented and explained financial reports
· Approximately $13,000 has been raised so far from fundraiser. More mailers still need to be processed.
NEW BUSINESS
· Duck Bucks: discussed validity and how they would be distributed. They used to be spent at school store. Discussed if teachers or principal would distribute. No resolution met. Mr. Godshalk mentioned there was another discussion for principals to have another reward system.
· Race for Ed/Cookie Dough Fundraiser: Attending members were asked how they perceived fundraiser. Some comments were that it felt rushed, a suggestion was made for sponsors to color a sneaker or post-it note to send in with donation to show visible support, others suggested having a Mud run or a video link of the Race to post. Generally agreed that the non-tangible prizes were a success this year. It was a positive experience for winners and whole class of winners and also saved PAL money. Vikki explained timeline of fundraiser. Race money is welcome all year long.
· Holiday Shoppe Date/ Plant Sale/Santa Pictures/Merchandise/Santa’s Elves/Book Fair/ Giving Tree/Food Table scheduled for 6-8:00pm on December 4. Conflicts with Strayer Concert and Tree Lighting Ceremony were discussed. Changing the date for this year involves changing dates with Neidig Chorus parents, poinsettia delivery, Christmas City Studios (Santa pictures), and book fair. A suggestion was made to have a bake sale to raise some additional funds, but a parent would need to take lead as PAL exec staff will be otherwise assigned.
