Monday: DefinitionsAttach word list to journal. For each word, copy and record the definition into your journal.

-Write two synonyms
-Create a sentence for each word that conveys the meaning of the word.
If your sentence conveys the meaning of the word,
the reader should be able have context clues to help them understand the meaning of the word. / Wednesday: Free Choice
-Illustrate the word. Write the word draw a picture that represents how we use the word in class.
-Ransom words. Cut out letters from a magazine or newspaper and glue them into your journal to spell out the word.
-Words Count. Spell out your words using the numerical code below. Find the values of each of your vocabulary words.
Words Count Code > A = 1, B=2, C=3,D=4…..and so on until Z=26. / Thursday: STUDY!
Study for your spelling/vocab test!!
Test is Friday during your reading block.
