KINDERGARTEN NEWS
Leadership Notebooks: Your child will be bringing home their leadership notebook each night this week. STUDENTS NEED TO BRING THEIR LEADERSHIP NOTEBOOKS BACK TO SCHOOL EVERY DAY!! Please review their personal and academic goals with them each night. If they practice with you at home or report that they did it at school (walking to the classroom alone or opening milk) please have them color one box at the bottom of the page. Talk with your child about the importance of setting goals and working to achieve them. I encourage you to share with them a goal that you have and your plans to achieve that goal.
  • PTO – We currently have 6 students whose family members have joined PTO. If you haven’t joined PTO, please consider doing so. It is $5 to join and they do LOTS to help out our school!!!
  • Box Tops – We are still collecting Box Tops. Please send in any Box Tops that you have to help out our class and our school. Remember, Box Tops are found on lots of different items (Campbell’s Soup, cereals, Ziplock bags, etc.)
  • Trick-or-Treat So Others May Eat – We are collecting cans and non-perishable food items school-wide to help with Anderson AIM. These cans and non-perishable food items will be collected through the whole month of October. The 3 classes with the most items brought will receive a party!!
  • United Way – We are still collecting money for United Way. There will be a few more hat days in the month of October, as well as the $1.00 homework passes and $0.50 links for the chains in the lunchroom. The class with the most money raised gets to pie their teacher. Right now, we are in 3rd place!!!  Looks like I might be getting a pie in the face… 
