I would like to apply to join Next Choreography a yearlong course in choreography, with regular once a week evening sessions in term time.

Please provide as much information as possible about you. We are seeking choreographically curious, committed young people to join the course. Your answers will help us to gauge if Next Choreography is the right course for you and whether to offer you a place at a selection event, for a place on the course in 2017/18.

Once your application is complete, please return it to Siobhan Davies Studios, 85 St George's Road, London SE1 6ER, or e-mail with the subject “NC17/18”, no later than 5pm on Monday 2 October 2017.

The fee to participate in Next Choreography course in 2017/18 is £200. If you are offered a place on the course but are unable to pay the full course fee, subsidised places are available.

Next Choreography is a yearlong course for a small selected group of 14- 24 year olds. Successful applicants will be required to attend regular sessions, on Thursday evenings 6-830pm, in term time at Siobhan Davies Studios.

(The project you describe doesn’t need to be about choreography or the arts. This is an opportunity for you to demonstrate how you approach a project).

As a participant of Next Choreography you would look at the choreographic processes used by artists across different art forms, create your own work and share this through events within the studios.

Applications for Next Choreography 2017/18 close on 2 October 2017.

Shortlisted applicants will be notified by 9 October and invited to a selection event on 12 October 6-8pm at Siobhan Davies Studios.
At the selection event shortlisted applicants will have the opportunity to ask questions and take part in practical tasks. We will confirm the course dates and provide full information about the course at this event.
Following the selection event we will invite up to 15 young people to join Next Choreography for 2017/18.
