Academy on the Green Economy
ELECTIVES: TERMS OF REFERENCE
- Objectives
The Academy electives offer participants in-depth understanding on specific topics related to promoting socially inclusive green economies. These are interactive break-out sessions that provide participants with both theoretical knowledgeanda more practical approach to the subject matter, through concrete examples, case studies and the sharing of views and experiences amongst the group. Electives will enable participants to become up-to-date with their chosen thematic topic and enhance their ability to use the acquired knowledge in their day-to-day work.
- Format
- Each of the electives consists of 5 hours of teaching, spanning over 1 to 3 days. Depending on contents and resource persons’ availability, some electives could therefore be extended to the maximum duration of 15 hours (to be confirmed as part of the final timetable preparation).
- Approximately 30 participants could potentially attend an elective.
- Even though the entire Academy is offered in English, depending on the number of applicants from French and Spanish speaking countries, some electives could be also given in these languages.
