- Report on Income, Expenditures, Donations and Spending Authority – Denise Cassano, Director
- Discussion and approval of expenditures not to exceed $495.00 for the purchase of 700 rubber jar openers for distribution at senior public awareness events - Denise Cassano, Director
PUBLIC COMMENT
Motion: To approve expenditures not to exceed $495.00 for the purchase of 700 rubber jar openers in FY 2011/2012.
- Report, Discussion and Recommendations from the June 7, 2012 Meeting of the Steering Committee on Equipment Purchases – Lt. Trevor Smith, Chair
PUBLIC COMMENT
Motion: To approve the recommendations of the Steering Committee as follows:
Request to have staff submit invitations to qualifying law enforcement agencies to complete and submit grant applications for consideration to receive bait vehicles under the LATIFPA/NICB bait vehicle program.
Place the 4-wheeler under the LATIFPA/NICB bait vehicle program as an All Terrain Vehicle (ATV) demonstration project.
Place the 4-Wheeler with the Calcasieu Parish Sheriff’s Office for use under the LATIFPA/NICB license plate reader program, All Terrain demonstration project.
- Report and Discussion on the Remington Elsag that has been operational by the Livingston Parish Sheriff’s Office under the LATIFPA/NICB License Plate Reader Program.
PUBLIC COMMENT
Motion: Remove from the LATIFPA/NICB License Plate Reader Program the Remington Elsag and use it as a $5,000 trade in on a new PIPS License Plate Reader in FY 2012/2013.
