Start Time: 9:00am – all 1st round officiating teams plan on being on your court at 8:40.

Matches: 2 games to 25 points no cap.
Placing: Will be determined by record, head-to-head, point differential, flip coin.

Playoff Format:

2 out of 3 games – first 2 games to 25 no cap, 3rd game to 15 no cap.

Coach must up-officiate

Game balls will be provided. Please bring warm-up balls. No pepper or ball-handling in the halls.

5 minutes warm-up for all matches.

Awards will be provided for 1st place teams in all three divisions.

PLAYOFF FORMAT-will begin ASAP!!! Top 8 teams will go to the Black Division, 9th-16th place teams will go to the Orange Division and the 17th-20th place teams will go to the White division. Placing will be determined by 1.) gameswon/lost, head-to-head, point differential, flip of coin.

TOURNAMENT GUIDELINES

  1. Doors will open at 8:00am. Teams who referee the first matches are asked to be on their court by 8:40 am.
  2. Playoff matches are best 2 of 3 to 25 (no cap), 3rd game to 15 (no cap). The next warm-up time will begin immediately after the previous match is over. Officiating teams please get started immediately.
  3. All teams advance to playoffs based on pool play results.
  4. Please bring your own warm-up volleyballs- no pepper or ball-handling in the halls.
  5. A concession stand will be available on site.
  6. Please respect our facility; we believe you’ll find this to be a great place to play! Teams and spectators are asked to clean up after themselves!
  7. There is no trainer available or ice, please bring your own medical supplies.
  8. Please keep courts moving along promptly. If you’re the officiating team, please help keep the matches moving. No cell phones, iPods, or iTouches at the scoring tables.

Location:

The High School is on the NW Corner of Highway 19 and Highway 23. Across Highway 23 from SouthwestMinnesotaStateUniversity. The gym is located on the SE side of the school. Please park in the SE parking lot and use the SE entrance to the gym.
