In the year 2009 I have found earlier references to Male families in Somerset.
In 4.5. 1545, Alce Male married John Way in Somerset. In 1587, a Katharine Male, daughter of John Male was baptised at Stocklinch Ottersay StMagdaleneChurch. In 1602 Isabelle Male married William Pittard . In 1606 Elinor Male married Thomas Trignell both at Barrington. Somerset. England.
I don’t know if these people are the forerunners of our tree or not.
The BDM also shows an Ann Male marrying 27.12.1699 to Peter Holbrook.
December 29.2002. Have found a Thomas Male married to Margaret ? b. 1611 in Sarah
Hawkins Work sheet. Wonder if Thomas fits in here somewhere ??
January 2003. A William Male m. Sarah Cox in 1653. Could he be a sibling to Henry ?
February 2003. Barbara has an Isabell Male married to William Pittard on 28.4.1602. Could
she be a sister to Richardus Johannes Male ?? or a daughter of Johannis ?
