·  The National Nuclear Security Administration issued its award fee determination to National Security Technologies, LLC (NSTec), the management and operating contractor for the Nevada Test Site for fiscal year 2009. NSTec earned 93% of the available award fee which, combined with the fixed fee, earned NSTec an overall 94.28% of total fee.

·  As a result of their performance, NSTec was awarded an additional Award Term year. The contract period of performance now extends through September 30, 2013.

·  NSTec’s performance during this evaluation period was deemed to be “outstanding”. Highlights for the year include key mission successes as well as effective management of potentially significant budgetary issues. In fiscal year 2010, NSTec will focus on continuous improvement in the general management area, as well as maintaining their outstanding performance in mission areas.

·  NSTec was formed as a joint venture between Northrop Gurmman Corporation, AECOM, CH2M Hill and Nuclear Fuel Services Inc.
