Aaron Eccleston Scholarship
Instructions

The purpose of this scholarship is to provide tuition assistance to a graduating senior of Vancouver Public Schools to attend an accredited two-year community college or four-year college or university.

This scholarship has been established by the Eccleston family as a lasting tribute to Aaron Eccleston, an alto saxophone player at Columbia River High School. Aaron had a strong interest in instrumental music and was involved in football and basketball pep bands, marching bands, band festivals, and traveled on extended band trips. Despite requiring regular blood transfusions to treat his illness during his final years at Columbia River, his positive attitude was contagious to fellow students.

This $1000 scholarship encourages and supports its recipient to pursue a post secondary education. The scholarship will be awarded to an individual who has demonstrated a sincere interest in instrumental music, is of outstanding character, and who has met the following requirements.
