9/7/17 / Sawnee EMC, your local electric company, offers a number of scholarships to the youth in our community. Last year, the Foundation awarded nineteen (19) four (4) thousand dollar scholarships for a total of $76,000!
This is NOT an opportunity to be missed!
I am providing you the link to our website where students can locate the application. We also have an opportunity for Juniors and Seniors that love history. It is called the Washington Youth Tour. Students complete a simple application and may be chosen to interview for the opportunity to be one of our delegates to go to Washington DC for one week with 100 other teens. The trip is FREE and FULL of awesome activities.

  • The amount of this award varies. Requirements are a 23 ACT/1130 RSAT with a 3.0 high school GPA. A resume is required with this application as well. Deadline: December 1st.
Chancellor’s Scholarship
  • The award amount varies from $7,000 - $10,000 annually. Requirements for this scholarship are a 28 ACT/1320 RSAT and a 3.5 high school GPA. An essay is required for this scholarship. Deadline: December 1st.
Millennium Scholarship
  • The amount of this scholarship varies from $11,000 - $15,000 per year. Requirements are a 32 ACT/1450 RSAT and a 3.7 high school GPA. An essay is required for this scholarship as well. Deadline: December 1st.

9/22/17 / SeniorAdvisor.com: Future of Assisted Living Scholarship. Three $2,000 scholarships available to students enrolled in an associate's degree, bachelor's degree or graduate level program at an accredited 2-year college or 4-year university. Each eligible student must submit a 500-750 word essay response to the question: How can your major of study improve the lives of seniors in assisted living facilities in your town.
