Board of Directors / Officers
Commodore / Chair of the Board of Directors – Dylan Young
Oversees operation of the organization presides over board meetings, acts as official spokesperson and representative of the organization and ensures that those responsible for day to day tactical and long range strategic planning projects are handled. At Large member of all organization committees.
Vice Commodore, Chief Communication Officer – Kathi Pugh
Works closely with Commodore and stands in for Commodore, as needed. Works with Treasure on membership and other issues. Handles public relations needs of the organization. Works with outreach coordinator on newsletters and outreach efforts to the community. May be a member of various committees.
Secretary – Chris Rubke
Schedules all board meetings and maintains minutes of all meetings, ensures compliance with relevant legal requirements applicable to the organization, maintains the organizations permanent records. May be a member of various committees.
Treasurer – Brian Pease
Handles the finances of the organization, maintains the books of the organization, coordinates the preparation and timely filing of tax returns, and coordinates the licensing and insurance needs of the organization. May be a member of various committees.
Rear Commodore – Regattas – Edmund Bridges
In charge of all Regattas (monthly, annual and special events) put on by the organization. Permanent member of regatta and special racing event committees. May be a member of various other committees. Coordinates educational programs for the organization’s members and maintains training resources pertaining to the same.Permanent member of the Educational and Training Committee. May be a member of various other committees.
Dinghy Director – Chris Naughton
In charge of the organization’s dinghy sailing program. Handles all issues ranging from size of fleet, acquisitions, dispositions, maintenance, etc. Permanent member of the Dinghy Committee.May be a member of various other committees.
Keelboat Director – Cristina Rubke
In charge of the organization’s keelboat sailing program. Handles all issues ranging from size of fleet, acquisitions, dispositions, maintenance, etc. Permanent member of the Keelboat Committee. May be a member of various other committees.
Veteran Sailing Director– Ed Bridges
In charge of the organization’s veteran sailing program.May be a member of various other committees.
Paralympic Sailing and Racing Director – Dylan Young
In charge of the organization’s Paralympic Sailing and Racing program.May be a member of various other committees.
Webmaster – Aurora Baron
In charge of developing and maintaining the organization‘s website and implementing other technological developments into the fabric of the organization (including accessible technology issues for members).

Coordinates the financial sustainability of the organization (memberships, grant writing, donations, etc.). Permanent member of the Financial Sustainability Committee. May be a member of various other committees.

Handles member issues for the organization. Assists/chairs Membership Committee. May be a member of various committees.
Standing Committees of the Organization
The committee chairs are members of the Board of Directors designated by the Board. The committee chairs are listed first below. The committees are populated by Board members and volunteers approved by the Board. The number of members of any given committee is determined by the committee chair.
Dinghy Committee
In charge of coordinating the regular Dinghy programs. In charge of maintaining the fleet of dinghies (boats, sails, rigging, chase boats, motors,etc.).

Keelboat Committee
Coordinates keelboat activities of the organization. In charge of maintaining the fleet of keelboats (boats, sails, rigging, motors, etc.)

Coordinates racingactivities of the organization.

Banquet and Home Port Committee
In charge of social events of the organization and planning for any needed food, beverage and other matters pertaining to organization events.
