Description of Duties: The Customer Service Manager would be responsible for accurate cash posting processes and performance of duties to ensure quality and efficiency of all elements of posting and balancing daily cash as received. Responsible for ensuring timely and accurate payment posting, adjustments, and rejections to patient accounts in accordance with the current policy and procedure. Oversee the sorting of mail as well as posting all inter-company transfers and credit card payments. Ensures that patient statements are distributed in a timely manner. Position will support management with detailed account flow analysis and work standard review, especially as they relate to quality and production of work.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent experience required. Minimum of ten years experience on a management level in customer service, self pay collections, billing and cash posting in a hospital, healthcare organization or physician practice. Experience with Microsoft Office required, including Charting and Cause and effect. Note: applicants will be assessed for skill in the use of Microsoft Office.
A criminal record background check and drug testing is required. If appointed, applicant will be subjected to a Fingerprint Based Background Check of the Georgia and Federal Criminal History Record Databases.
