LOU TOMPKINS ELIGIBILITY AND TEAMS
Registration for the 9th Grade team and the Lou Tompkins B, and C Summer 2017 competitive teams.

Lou Tompkins “B” 14 and some 13
Lou Tompkins “C” 13 and some 12 (Division C is designed solely for 13 year old players (a player cannot be 14 on April 30, 2017) but a player turning 13 on May 1 to July 31 is eligible.)
*Age as of April 30, 2017 – 12 year olds must have already played on the big diamond
2017 SEASON SCHEDULE
9th Grade team will play in the Elite Baseball League; schedule is posted to the website at
http://www.elitebaseballleague.com. The team will play two tournaments, last weekend in June in NH and July 14th weekend in Long Island, more details to follow. All games will be on the weekend, with two or three practices during the week. Season will end last weekend in July.
B and C divisions will play one game during the week and 2 games on the weekend.
B and C Division opens mid-June. More information can be found at http://ltabaseball.com
Season will end first week of August.
TRYOUTS
9th Grade team tryouts are Monday night May 29th 6 to 8 pm under the lights at Feeley.
(Please arrive at 5:30 to warm-up).
LTB and LTC tryouts Wednesday, May 31st from 6:00 to 8:00pm under the lights at Feeley.
(Please arrive at 5:30 to warm-up).
Registration Fee for 9th Grade and Lou Tompkins B & C: $650.
LS BASEBALL SENIOR BABE RUTH ELIGIBILITY
Please note: players who are trying out for the Legion team should still submit an application for Senior Division. They are separate organizations.
Players on the Senior Babe Ruth team must be 15-18 years old on May 1, 2017. Players must have previously played on a high school level team. The schedule is still to be determined but based on last year; games for this division will begin in early June (Date TBD) with several practices preceding the start of the season. There will be 3 weekday games each week scheduled followed by playoffs going through the end of July.
Full commitment is expected at this level with no planned vacations during the season. More details can be found at

Tryouts for Senior LS Baseball is Monday, May 29th 6 to 8 at Feeley Field under the lights. Please arrive at 5:30 for warm ups. Registration fee $650.
Minuteman
Minuteman Baseball will run a Summer Minuteman League for 12 - 16 year olds who have previously played at the Babe Ruth level. This league will be comprised of teams from the same towns as the Minuteman Spring league. It will provide an opportunity for players to participate in a less competitive and more informal level of play than the Lou Tompkins program.
Games will begin the week of mid-June with games being played on Monday through Thursday nights. The schedule is a 12 game schedule (2 games per week). The single elimination playoffs will begin on in early August
There are no tryouts for this team and selection will be based on player availability during the summer and the order of receipt of the application forms.
