Constitution Booklet Project***Class work 9/18, 9/19 & 9/21 (Due Tuesday 9/23)***
Scenario:
A visitor from outer space has landed on out school’s football field and you are there to witness it. The visitor asks you to explain all about your country’s government. Unfortunately there is not enough time for you to explain everything in detail. The ‘alien’ informs you that he has to get a bit to eat before getting back on his space craft and that he will meet back up with you in about 2 hours. You figure you can create a booklet that highlights the main points of the US Constitution and Bill of Rights in that amount of time and then the alien will have some reading material for his flight home and your task will be complete.
Your Task:
To create a brief, yet accurate and informative, handbook, about the US Constitution as a reference for yourself or someone unfamiliar with our country.
Steps:
- Take 4 pieces of 8 ½ x 11 sheets of paper, fold like a book and then stable along the spine (fold)
- Starting with the first inside page on the right, number your pages in the bottom right hand corner
