Important Parking Information for Spring Semester 2015

Welcome to all Faculty, Staff and Students for Spring 2015 Semester! Parking may be challenging at the start of each new semester and we’d like to take a moment to cover several points and give a few reminders on how to handle parking on the Ocean Campus.

  • Students, Faculty and Staff are advised to arrive early to campus to allow for enough time to find parking. We highly encourage you to consider public transportation.
  • For Spring Semester there is no grace period for non-compliance of parking permit requirements.
  • Parking regulations will be enforced starting on the first day of classes 1/12/15.
  • You must have a faculty/staff parking permit to park in employee parking lots. Employees should obtain parking pass thru IPARQ website. Visit the police department webpage for instructions.
  • You must park in a marked parking stall, defined as between two white lines. No out of stall parking is allowed.
  • You may not park in Red or Yellow zones or on loading docks on campus. You may park in a Blue zone with a Blue or Red Disabled Placard.
  • Students are encouraged to purchase the semester parking permit decalonline using the Web4 system , for assistance contact Student Accounting located in Conlan Hall, room 104. Daily Student Parking Permits may be purchased from the machines located in the parking lots for $3 per day. These machines accept credit card or ATM card with a few that take cash
  • If using street parking please be considerate of our neighbors in the surrounding area of our campus. Do not block driveways, make excessive noise or trash the area.
  • For District Center locations refer to parking regulations on Police Department website.

Vehicles in violation of traffic regulations may be cited and/or towed. Parking information can be found on the Police website at or you may reach the Campus Police at (415)239-3200.
