The International Trainee Program

For more than 80 years, Jotun has been an innovative supplier of marine and protective coatings. Yet in an increasingly global industry dominated by fewer but larger players, Jotun is working to optimize its global network. We are continuously implementing new systems to improve the production flow and efficiency, and we are now looking for a mature, dynamic and process-oriented International Trainee - Supply Chain.
The International trainee will be located at Jotun's head office in Shanghai, but most job tasks and responsibilities will have a regional perspective. Jotun China has almost 1200 employees and is the fastest growing Jotun company. In China we are established with two production facilities, respectively in Guangzhou and Zhangjiagang.

International Trainee - Supply Chain - China

As part of the overall strategic plan for Jotun Marine and Protective Coatings, we wish to strengthen the supply chain department in the global Marine and Protective business with the mature, dynamic and result oriented Trainee–Supply Chain.

Job description

  • Promote, support and develop Jotun Supply Chain policies.
  • Support analysis and activities to secure high delivery performance with balance between supply and demand.
  • Solve emergencies in Supply Chain and initiate preventative actions to avoid reoccurrence.
  • Initiate and participate in continuous improvements initiatives according to LEAN philosophy.
  • Assist in developing an operational competency base.
  • Responsibilities and tasks during the program will be designed in accordance with company needs and the job holder's competence and interests.

-Graduates with master degree

Qualifications

-Master's degree within Supply Chain or Logistics

-High level of IT operation skills ( General IT knowledge on office software ,especially on Excel )

-No more than three years work experience

-Fluent speaking English and Mandarin
