“ThinkGate” Elements
Principals-Reporting Cheat Sheet

LOG IN
- Go to
- Enter your User Name: (school number)_ap or school#_principal
- Enter your Password: Thinkgate2014!
- Enter your Client ID: wake
- Select the Sign In button
- Student Achievement Overall
- Click Reporting
- Click Assessments Results tile
- Click Expand icon
- In the left pane Fill inGrade, Subject, Curriculum
- Fill in Term(s), Category, Assessment Type(s), Year
- Under DEMOGRAPHICS
- Fill in Gender, Race, Limited LEP, Disability, Socioeconomic, Migrant
- Click Searchbutton at top of pane
- This will produce a list of possible options
- Click the “REPORT” icon
- Click Progress Report in the report selection dialog box
- Click Student under the VIEW category on the left
- Student Achievement is displayed for each student in the school.
- class achievement overall
- Click Reporting
- Click Assessments Results tile
- Click Expand icon
- In the left pane Fill inGrade, Subject, Curriculum
- Fill in Term(s), Category, Assessment Type(s), Year
- Under DEMOGRAPHICS
- Fill in Gender, Race, Limited LEP, Disability, Socioeconomic, Migrant
- Click Search button at top of pane
- This will produce a list of possible options
- Click the “REPORT” icon
- Click Progress Report in the report selection dialog box
- Click Class under the VIEW category on the left
- Class Achievement is displayed for each student in the school.
C. Student Achievement by Standard
- Click Reporting
- Click Assessments Results tile
- Click Expand icon
- In the left pane Fill inGrade, Subject, Curriculum
- Fill in Term(s), Category, Assessment Type(s), Year
- Under DEMOGRAPHICS
- Fill in Gender, Race, Limited LEP, Disability, Socioeconomic, Migrant
- Click Search button at top of pane
- This will produce a list of possible options
- Click the “REPORT” icon
- Click Masteryon the popup screen
- Click Standards by Student under the VIEW category on the left
- Student Achievement by Standard is displayed for each student.
D. Class Achievement by standard
- Click Reporting
- Click Assessments Results tile
- Click Expand icon
- In the left pane Fill inGrade, Subject, Curriculum
- Fill in Term(s), Category, Assessment Type(s), Year
- Under DEMOGRAPHICS
- Fill in Gender, Race, Limited LEP, Disability, Socioeconomic, Migrant
- Click Search button at top of pane
- Click the “REPORT” icon
- Click Progress Report in the report selection dialog box
- Click Standard under the VIEW category on the left
- Class Achievement by Standard is displayed for each student in the school
E. at-risk student report
- Click Reporting
- Click Assessments Results tile
- Click Expand icon
- In the left pane Fill inGrade, Subject, Curriculum
- Fill in Term(s), Category, Assessment Type(s), Year
- Under DEMOGRAPHICS
- Fill in Gender, Race, Limited LEP, Disability, Socioeconomic, Migrant
- Click Search button at top of pane
- This will produce a list of possible options
- Click the “REPORT” icon
- Click At Riskon the popup screen
- Click Students by Domain under the VIEW category on the left
- At-Risk Student Report is displayed for each student.
F. historical data by student
- Click Reporting
- In Advanced Reporting tile click Report Engine
- Under CUSTOMIZE CRITERIA
- Select Clear Criteria
- Click the OK button
- Select Course
- Under COURSE
- Fill in Grade, Subject, Course, Curriculum
- Select Student
- Under STUDENT
- Fill in Name, ID
- Click Find Availablebutton
- Under CUSTOMIZE CRITERIA
- Select Run Report
- This will produce a report
- Click student under the VIEW category on the left
- Historical Data by Student is displayed for that student
G. historical data by teacher
- Click Reporting
- In Advanced Reporting tile click Report Engine
- Under CUSTOMIZE CRITERIA
- Select Clear Criteria
- Click the OK button
- Select Course
- Under COURSE
- Fill in Grade, Subject, Course, Curriculum
- Select Teacher
- Under TEACHER
- Click Find Available button
- Under CUSTOMIZE CRITERIA
- Select Run Report
- This will produce a report
- Click teacher under the VIEW category on the left
- Historical Data by Teacher is displayed for that teacher
