¨  CA-MRSA knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors among college athletes.

¨  Provide resources and education to increase CA-MRSA awareness among athletes, coaches, and trainers.

¨  Develop intervention methods to prevent the spread of CA-MRSA among athletes.

¨  Understanding and modeling the behavioral, cognitive, and affective responses of two lung cancer screening modalities, Chest X-ray (CXR) and low-dose Spiral Computed Tomography (SCT) under the protocol of randomized clinical trial.

§  Identify predictors of longitudinal change in behavior participation in lung cancer screening.

§  Examine concordance between self-report smoking behavior and a biochemical index of smoking behavior in a sub-sample of study participants.

§  Establish an empirical foundation for designing lung cancer screening programs as well as developing interventions.

§  Develop and implement an intervention targeting Nurse Practitioners’ capacity and willingness to increase and improve their smoking practices with patients.

§  Measuring the impact of Kentucky Cancer Program, Providers Practice Prevention.

§  Analyze the three time points – before the intervention, immediately afterward, and one year later, of data on Nurse Practitioners’ knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors regarding tobacco cessation in response to the program.
