KINGDOM PRINCIPLES
“Building The Kingdom…GOD’s Way”
1)Establish Divine Protocol
The Issue:
(KJV) 2 Chronicles 15:3-6 “3Now for a long season Israel hath been without the true GOD, and without a teaching priest, and without law. 4 But, when they in their trouble did turn unto the Lord GOD of Israel, and sought him, he was found of them. 5 And in those times there was no peace to him that went out, nor to him that came in, but great vexations were upon all the inhabitants of the countries. 6 And nation was destroyed of nation, and city of city: for GOD did vex them with all adversity.”
The Argument:
- The Body of Christ is suffering from Spiritual Cataracts. Cataracts are defined as clouding in the lens of the eye negatively affecting vision. Spiritual Cataracts is the clouding of the spiritual eye or the mind of humanity, prohibiting adequate focus on GOD through Christ. Some of the causes of Spiritual Cataracts are:
- Creating / Permitting Idol gods to over take the One True GOD. (v.3a)
- Inadequate leadership (voluntary or involuntary). (v. 3b)
- Absence of GOD-inspired, structured living. (v.3c)
- The results of an unfocused body of people are:
- Inability to recognize their present conditions. (v.4a)
- Forgetfulness of the Destiny or Promises of GOD. (v.4a)
- Unwillingness to change or repent. (v.4a)
- Individual confusion regardless of the area. (v.5ab)
- Chaos in the areas previously traveled. (v.5ab)
- Mass infestation and contamination of The Body of Christ. (v.5c)
- Families destroying themselves. (v.6a)
- Individual self destruction. (v.6b)
- Punishment at the hand of and by the wrath of GOD. (v.6c)
The Solution:
- Realign individual, personal focus onto the One True GOD. (v.4)
- Seek to have a true understanding of the One True GOD. (See Page 2)
The Truth About GOD
There is no reasonable excuse for ignorance concerning GOD, or for misconceptions of GOD. The Bible contains over 20,000 references about GOD describing in great detail, characteristics of GOD’s personalities, what GOD can and can not do, and what GOD has done and will do. We must, therefore, glorify and magnify GOD best by believing in and living for GOD.
1. GOD – means deity; Supreme Being; one exalted or revered as supremely good or powerful; Divine or supremely good; Heavenly.
2.GODHEAD –The Ultimate Power and Ruler of all eternity, specifically GOD, THE FATHER. It is used to reference Jesus in Colossians 2:9, as having all the qualities of divinity in His manifestation of GOD to men.
3. GOD is personal.
- Personal names of GOD: Genesis 1:1; Exodus 3:13-15; Exodus 6:3; Psalm 68:4)
- Personal Statements made about GOD: Genesis 1:26; Genesis 3:22; Number 20:16; Judges 2:1-5; Acts 3:21; Hebrews 1:1-2; Peters 1:21
- Personal relationships ascribed to GOD:2 Corinthians 6:1; 2 Corinthians 13:14; 1 John 1:3; 1 John 3:1; Revelations 21:3-7
4. GOD is Omnipresent. Jeremiah 23:23-24; Acts 17:27-28; Matthew 28:19-20;
5. GOD is Omniscient. Job 12:22; Proverbs 24:12; Ezekiel 11:5; Romans 8:27
6. GOD is Omnipotent. Hebrews 6:17-19; 2 Timothy 2:13; Ephesians 2: 8-9
7. GOD is REAL. There are over 130 declarations of GOD revealing GOD’s Self as the Only True GOD. Psalm 93:9-11; Isaiah 40:12-31; Job 38:1-41; Revelations 4: 10-11; Hebrews 1:3; Leviticus 10:24
KINGDOM PRINCIPLES
“Building The Kingdom…GOD’s Way”
2)Respect Divine Power
The Issue:
(KJV) Psalm 24 “1 The Earth is the LORD’s, and the fullness thereof; the world, and they that dwell therein. 2 For he hath founded it upon the seas, and establish it upon the floods. 3 Who shall ascend into the hill of the LORD? or who shall stand in HIS holy place? 4 He that hath clean hands, and a pure heart; who hath not lifted up his soul unto vanity, nor sworn deceitfully. 5 He shall receive the blessing from the LORD, and righteousness from the GOD of his salvation. 6 This is the generation of them that seek HIM, that seek thy face, O Jacob.7 Lift up your heads, O ye gates; and be ye lift up, ye everlasting doors; and the KING OF GLORY shall come in. 8 Who is this KING OF GLORY? The LORD strong and mighty, the LORD mighty in battle. 9 Lift up your heads, O ye gates, even lift them up, ye everlasting doors: and the KING OF GLORY shall come in. 10 Who is this KING OF GLORY? The LORD of hosts, HE is the KING OF GLORY.”
The Argument:
- The Body of Christ is struggling through Spiritual Amnesia. There are numerous questions that resonate within the mind of the average Christian, which cause those who love GOD to question the ability of GOD. In building The Kingdom of GOD we must be able and willing to trust in the strength of GOD. This is accomplish by:
- Acknowledging the natural and spiritual creations of GOD. (v.1)
- Accepting how creation was created by GOD. (v. 2)
*Created on top of issues (upon the seas)
*Created on top of destruction (upon the floods)
- Allowing the holiness and righteousness to characterize your life. (v.4)
- The results of trusting in the strengthofGOD are:
- Divine Blessings. (v.5a)
- Divine Increase (v.5b)
- Divine Guidance (v.6)
- Divine Encouragement (v.7a)
- Divine Visitation (v.7c)
- Divine Victory (v.8bc)
The Solution:
- Allow the power of GOD to be your present and future strength. (v.9)
- Seek to have a true understanding of the True Power of GOD. (See Page 2)
The Power of GOD
“The power of GOD is that ability and strength whereby HE can bring to pass whatsoever HE pleases, whatsoever HIS infinite wisdom may direct, and whatsoever the infinite purity of HIS will may resolve. . . As holiness is the beauty of all of GOD’s attributes, so power is that which gives life and action to all the perfections of the Divine nature. How vain would be the eternal counsels, if power did not step in to execute them. Without power HIS mercy would be but feeble pity, HIS promises an empty sound, HISthreatening a mere scarecrow. GOD’s power is like HIMSELF: Infinite, Eternal, and Incomprehensible; it can neither be checked, restrained, nor frustrated by the creature.” (Stephen Charnock)
1. We cannot have a right conception of GOD unless we think of HIM as all-powerful, as well as all-wise. He who cannot do whatever he will and perform all of his pleasure cannot be GOD. As GOD hath a will to resolve what HE deems good, so has HE the power to execute HIS own will. Psalm 62:11; Psalm 18:13-15; Psalm 89:6; Daniel 4:35; Matthew 8:3
2. Power belongeth unto GOD, and to HIM alone. Not a creature in the entire universe has an atom of power save what GOD delegates. But GOD’s power is not acquired, nor does it depend upon any recognition by any other authority. It belongs to HIM inherently. Job 38:4-6; Mark 14:62; Habakkuk 3:4;
3. Let us now consider God’s power in creation (Ps. 89:11, 12). Before man can work he must have both tools and materials, but GOD began with nothing, and by HISWord alone out of nothing made all things. The intellect cannot grasp it. GOD spoke and it was done, HE commanded and it stood fast. Primeval matter heard HIS Voice and obeyed. Psalm 89:11, 12; Psalm 33:9; Genesis 1
4. Consider GOD’s power in preservation. No creature has the power to preserve itself. Both man and beast would perish if there were not herbs for food, and herbs would wither and die if the earth were not refreshed with fruitful showers. Therefore, GOD is called the Preserver of "man and beast". The preservation of the earth from the violence of the sea is another plain instance of GOD’s might. The natural situation of the water is to be above the earth, because it is lighter, and to be immediately under the air, because it is heavier. Who restrains the natural quality of it? Certainly man does not, and cannot. What a standing monument of the power of GODas the preservation of the world! Job 8:11; Psalm 36.6; Hebrew 1:3; Job 38:11
“God’s power is like Himself, self-existent, self-sustained. The mightiest of men cannot add so much as a shadow of increased power to the Omnipotent One. He sits on no buttressed throne and leans on no assisting arm. His court is not maintained by His courtiers, nor does it borrow its splendor from His creatures. He is Himself the great central source and Originator of all power” (Charles H. Spurgeon)
