We Are Gathered Here Today to Celebrate June 5Th, a Very Special Day in the Life of Joe

PROCLAMATION

WHEREAS, it has come to the attention of the City of Paris that Sunday, September 29, 2013 is a special day for Jane Doe, and

WHEREAS, Jane accepted Christ as her Savior at the age of 27 after realizing that God had given her the gift of an amazing voice to sing His Praises, which she first used at Mt. Pisgah Baptist Church in Paris, Texas; and,

WHEREAS, Since accepting Christ at the age of 27, and growing in Him ever since, she has led a ministry of music, taught Sunday School for 4 years, spoke at conferences, led praise and worship at several churches and is a part of Women of Word (W.O.W.) and Women of Destiny Inc. She is currently a faithful member of Living Word Baptist Church in Paris, Texas under Pastor Rodney Slaughter and,

WHEREAS, Jane will be delivering her first official sermon on Sunday, September 29, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Living Word Baptist Church, 1705 N. Main Street, Paris, Texas; and,

WHEREAS, Jane has been a Paris citizen her entire life, graduating Nursing School in 1985, she has been active in nursing for 28 years.

NOW THEREFORE, I, A.J. Hashmi, M.D., Mayor of the City of Paris along with members of the Paris City Council and Staff join with her family, friends and the community in extending best wishes on this

FIRST OFFICIAL SERMON

and further, I hereby declare September 29, 2013 as

JANE DOE DAY

in the City of Paris and afford her all the privileges and honor such a designation implies.
