Language Arts—Ms. Feltner & Mrs. Ferguson / Math—Mr. Shepherd & Mr. Banks
We will be discussing characters and how characterization affects a story’s outcome. We will also be doing some inferencing.
Ms. Feltner’s Class-- You will need to bring in a 2” binder with page dividers forthe 2nd semester (after the Holidays)!!! / We are going of properties next week: Additive, communitive, and distributive
FYI FOR PARENTS:The following are instructions to get the online math book. This an online tutor that you can use to help your child. Step 1. Step 2: Click homework video tutor. Step 3: Find the chapter or lesson that we working on and click on it.
Science—Ms. Conyers / Social Studies—Mr. Mastin
We are working on Seasons Web Quest and making posters to explain seasons and debunk common misconceptions about seasons. We will have a vocabulary review quiz over vocabulary from first semester and a quiz over the reasons for seasons worksheet. AR is DUE on the 11th to avoid it being put in as missing on midterm. /
We will be studying our nations fight for independence from Britain

Daily/Weekly Reminders
- All students must read at least 3 books per six weeks in L.A. and 1 per six weeks in Science. You will find that grades in both Science and Language arts reflect the reading students completed with their a.r. books. It is VERY important for all students to complete the required reading each six weeks.
- Check agendas nightly and sign
- ALL STUDENTS MUST HAVE A PENCIL AND PAPER FOR CLASS
- We appreciate the open dialogue this newsletter provides! Thank you so much for reading these and keeping abreast of your child’s school life!
- Students now have access to Infinite campus so both they and you can check grades; students will be looking up their grades and copying them into their agenda books on Mondays as well. A yellow sheet of paper with grades on them will be stapled into their agenda books every Monday .
