GROUP CONCERNS:

A group member was concerned about seeing lots of new comers not stick around – in the Acton area – not many meetings. It was heard that it was frowned upon to “not discuss other fellowships”. Another member pointed out that in the Basic Text it talks about – sharing anything on the floor, whether it be NA or AA – chairing a meeting =, please use NA language and – attitude of cooperation – to keep with the traditions – not to announce outside fellowship activities.

As an individual – you can approach individuals and give suggestions. Another addict brought up why are there not more meetings in that area. They are having a hard time filling the few meetings that are there currently.

OPEN FORUM:

A member expressed concern with going into facilities – not being qualified as panel leaders – the concern was with a “commitment” at RCA – There are rogue commitments – this is an H&I issue.

Outreach – how can we get our area more informed in the larger fellowship. Our area has not done a single CAR workshop on our area. Do a mini CAR – Conference Agenda Report workshop at the next area.

Issue getting with people staying for the business meetings. Ideas for approaching the individual as opposed to just making an announcement.

ILS, Katie D.
