Dear Families and Community Members,

On behalf of the Chenango Forks Parent Teacher Association, we want towelcome new families to the school community and we say “welcome back” to all those who are returning. The CF PTA is very enthusiastic for this upcoming 2016 – 2017 school year.

Our organization is made up volunteer parents/guardians, teachers, administrators and support staff who are all dedicated to improving the educational experience for our children. The CF PTA supports all three schools: elementary, middle, and high school. Each year the PTA plans fun activities and events that focus on education, school spirit, and the community. We have the unique opportunity to bring programs to the schools and the students like Pick AReading Partner (PARP)and Reflections,school community events like Fall Festival, Family Holiday movie night, and PARP family read-in nights and we have supported events/programs like books for summer reading for all students, scholarships for graduating seniors, a graduation gift of a book for all graduating seniors, Roscars for Film production students, supplied volunteers for middle school Health Day, the Pop-up Boutique, and many more.

We hope you will support these amazing programs by joining the CF PTA this year. Our goal is always to reach 100% membership and give every student a voice. Whether it’s attending a PTA meeting, volunteering during programs and events, or helping to make copies, it all truly makes a difference. We strongly encourage you to get involved at Chenango Forks schools, at whatever level you choose.

When you become a CF PTA member you also become a member of New York State and National PTA. The National and the New York State PTA believes that every child deserves excellence in education and in quality of life. PTA speaks for every child with one voice! New York State and the National PTA offer a variety of benefits to its members including discounts, special offers, and unique deals through the National PTA’s Benefits Provider Program. APTA member can save money on everyday purchases! To become a Chenango Forks PTA member please fill out the membership form. Please, remember to write legibly. Include your email address so that your PTA membership ‘card’ can be emailed to you and your Benefits Provider Program will send informational emails to you.
