o Basketball Bash: Winter Fundraiser; RLMS Staff vs Girls and Boys Varsity. Help with ticket sales, raffle donations, and gym monitoring for this popular family weeknight event during the winter.
o Community Outreach: Providing local, environmental & global community service opportunities for students, parents and staff.
o Cultural Enrichment: Develop ideas for cultural presentations and author visits to the school.
o Graduation: (3rd CO-CHAIR NEEDED) Assist School Principal with 8th Grade graduation planning and festivities.
o House Party: Coordinate activities for outdoor, family back-to-school party in September.
o Library Media Center: Aid school librarian with book shelving, book processing and special projects.
o One Shot Deal: We’ll call you when the need arises for an extra set of helping hands!
o Operation Hope: Prepare at home, deliver and serve meals for local homeless shelter recipients.
o Picture Day: Assist with orders and student flow on school portrait day in the Fall.
o School Beautification: (CHAIR NEEDED) Help spruce up the school and maintain indoor/outdoor plantings.
o Spirit wear: Take orders at various school events and distribute school spirit wear.
o Teacher Grants: (CO-CHAIR NEEDED) Advise teachers of grant opportunities; review applications and present grants to awardees.
o Teacher/Staff Appreciation: Choose which time of year is best for you to help! Committee chairs will contact you to pick a one-day event to work on in December or May.
o Winter-Holiday Appreciation in December
o Teacher Appreciation week in May
o Variety Show: (CHAIRS NEEDED) Help to organize and run annual student variety show production held in the Spring.
o Walk-A-Thon Fundraiser: Major school-wide fundraiser in October.
