Data protection and anonymisation of data
Data acquisition is conducted with due regard toconfidentiality andwith the assurance of nondisclosure ofdata,as well as the anonymity of all participants.Data analysis isconducted anonymously and for scientific purposes only. The acquisition and use of data are in accordance with the Zurich Bill on Information and Data Protection(BIDP).[1]
Data collection is conductedanonymously,that is, all personal data isrecorded anonymously by the person(s)mentionedabove in order to avoid any inference as to the participants’ identities. No recordwill be kept of any authentic personal data anditscodingin order to avoid traceability. Thisprocedureis in accordance with the regulationsof the Federal Act on Research involving Human Beings (Human Research Act HRA), applicable since 1 January 2014.[2]
Analysis will be conducted exclusively on data that has been rendered anonymous. Only the persons directly involved in the project will be able to access the original data.All persons involvedin the projectagree toadhere to nondisclosure and confidential use of databy signing this declaration of consent (for signatures, see below).
This project is being conducted at the School of Applied Linguistics, Zurich University of Applied Sciences (ZHAW) in Winterthur. The persons conducting the project will be happy to provide information on the results at the end of the project.
