There are two components.

- Final Exam:30%
The Coursework consists of a mid-semester test and two assignments.
ALLOCATION OF MARKS AND DESCRIPTION
COURSE WORK
- Mid-semester test (25%)
The test will cover UNITS 1 – 4 of your module. It will have both objective and subjective questions. Please refer to the sample test in your module as a reference.
- Assignment 1 (20%)
This assignment covers the processes involved in units1 to 4. The stages you need to report on for this assignment are the generation of ideas, mind-mapping, the formulation of TWO research questions based on the reporting of four research articles that you have selected for the topic that you have identified for research and summaries of your readings. You have also to write about what is it that has motivated you from your readings to formulate your research questions.
Your write up should be in about 1000 words. Use 1.5 spacing, and font Times Roman.
Preface your report with an outline.
Deadline for submission: During mid-semester test
- Assignment 2 (25%)
This assignment is an extension of Assignment 1. You will now present a proposal for an intended research following the format of a proposal. You are to include 8articles (including the 4 that were done for Assignment 1) under your literature review section. Follow the design given in your module to present your proposal.
Your write up is to be in about 1500 words.
Deadline for submission: One week before date of Final Examination.
NOTE: For both assignments, your articles should be sourced from the year 2000 onwards and are from the list of citation indexed journals compiled by Thomson Reuters.
FINAL EXAMINATION (30%)
Topics covered are UNITS 5 – 8.
