Attendance Policy:
You are expected to attend school daily and be on time for class, sitting in your desk and ready to learn by the time the bell rings. If you are absent from class without a valid excuse or if you leave class without permission, you are considered truant.
Make-up/Late work Policy:
Late work will be accepted one day after you return from an excused absence only. There are no make-ups for any truancy. You are responsible for everything you miss during your absence; this includes assessments regardless of whether or not you were absent the day prior. Meaning, if you are absent on the day of an assessment, you must take a different version of the assessment the same day you return to school. In order to keep yourself informed in the event of an absence, you should record the phone numbers of at least two students in your class who you can call when you are absent to find out what you missed.

· Please follow directions the first time they are given. This saves the time and energy that can be best used to work on learning concepts and assignments.
