Comparing and Scaling

Advertisement Project

In investigation 1 of Comparing and Scaling you are learning about how comparison statements are used to present data from a survey. As an extension of what you are learning in class, you will be conducting your own survey.

  • First, collect data about your survey question.
  • Next, represent your data in fractions, ratios, and percentages.
  • Then, write comparison statements about your data.
  • Finally, create an advertisementthat shows your survey results. Choose one of the following ways to advertise your data:
  • Brochure
  • Billboard (Poster)
  • Radio Ad
  • Commercial
  • PowerPoint
  • Magazine Ad
  • Other Advertisement Method (Must Be Approved)
