Update from Holly Hirst about International Housing
No longer guarantees location for incoming grad students.
The University has mandated that more housing be available for undergraduates.
Currently only ~44% of undergrads have on campus housing.
Discussion on if GSAS elections should be open to all graduate students
3 people spoke in favor of maintaining status quo.
Issue tabled.
GSAS Logo Ideas?
Dr. Hirst recommended we use a picture from the Pie Auction at the header of the GSAS page.
Thoughts on Creating a Transition Book for incoming officers.
GSAS 30 Year Anniversary Event
Collaborate with University advancement offices.

BOT Meeting Friday the 25th
Can a graduate delegation attend?
The last meeting before the June meeting, when the BOT will likely be voting on Graduate non-voting member on the BOT.
Elections – Create a new position in GSAS for ASG meeting?
Meeting is once/month at all UNC system schools.
All travel funds covered by ASG.
Kyle Nelson moved to create ASG Position Subcommittee to determine the role and responsibilities of the ASG representative. Matt Hepler 2nd.

Finance Committee
31 applications - 16 incomplete and thrown out
15 reviewed. Decided not to fun 8 applications (5 travel/ 3 research)
Funded 4 travel fully, 2 research fully, and 2 partial research.
This round of awards, if all paid, fund will be zeroed out.
THERE WILL LIKELY NOT BE AN APRIL 1ST CALL.
People will likely be informed by 3/22/11.
