MISSION AND PASTORAL MEASURE 2011

This form sets out:

1.the documentation, and

2.details of the church proposed to be declared closed for regular public worship and its churchyardwhich are required by the Church Commissioners in order to prepare and publish a draft Scheme providing for the declaration of closure.

The staff of the Commissioners' Closed Churches Division will be very ready to deal with any enquiries about the details requested.

2. / Certificate concerning consultations with interested parties and benefice information sheet (Form P2/2A).
3. / The comments and information obtained from the Church Buildings Council in accordance with section 21(7) of the Measure.
4. / A plan of the site based on an extract from a 1:1250-1:500 Ordnance Survey Sheet for urban properties and 1:2500 for properties in rural areas. A Scheme declaring a church closed for regular public worship cannot be completed before the plan has been examined in the Commissioners' office and good title has been established.

NOTE: / how access is gained to the church and churchyard and
who owns the access; and supplementary information about
the status of any roads or paths crossing the property,
any faculties or Open Spaces Agreements to which the property is subject,
the location, size and status of parking areas (both on and off street),
any rights of way, easements or wayleaves affecting the property
details of boundary ownership and responsibility for maintenance
the address of any county/diocesan archive office
the name and address of a possible statutory declarant should one be needed.

8. / A copy of an up to date inventory of the contents of the church including a copy of the Inventory of National War Memorials (if appropriated).
