DRIVE AGAINST DISTRIBUTION OF LIQUOR DURING ELECTIONS.

SUPPLIER OF ILLICIT LIQUOR ARRESTED.

A TATA 407 LADEN WITH ILLICIT LIQUOR SEIZED.

RECOVERED - 7776 QUARTERS (162 CARTONS X 48) AND 360 HALF (15 CARTONSX 24) OF ILLICIT LIQUOR.

INTRODUCTION:-

Crime Branch has arrested an illicit liquor supplier namely Narender Kumar (age 29 years) s/o Ajeet Singh r/o R-44, Adarsh Colony, NIT, Faridabad, Haryana from Mathura Road, near Aali Village Red light and have recovered one Tata 407 No.HR38E-8959 laden with7776 quarters (162 CartonsX 48) and 360 Half (15 CartonsX 24) of illicit country made English liquor (Royal Stag, Episode & Impact Brand), which was to be supplied in Paharganj area for forthcoming Assembly Election purpose. Accordingly, a case FIR No.197/13 dated 29.11.2013, u/s 33 & 38 Delhi Excise Act was registered at PS/Crime Branch, Delhi.

INFORMATION, TEAM AND OPERATION:-

An input was received in Anti Robbery Cell, Crime Branch thatone Madan r/o Faridabad, Haryana is indulging in the sale and supply of illicit liquor fromFaridabad to Delhi.

Immediately, a team led by Inspr KP Singh and comprising of SIs P C Yadav, Sanjay Neolia, HCs Dayanand, Vikal, Rajiv Mohan, Narender, Cts Yogender, Naresh, Sawta, Rahul, Ravinder, Yogender, Amarpal was constituted to develop the information and to nab the culprit, under the close supervision of ACP S S Gill and over all guidance of DCP Bhisham Singh.

A specific input was received in the Anti Robbery Cell, Crime Branch that conduit of said Madan r/o Faridabad, Haryana will be moving through Mathura Road to deliver a consignment of illicit liquor to a contact in a Tata 407 No.HR 38 E 8959 in the Paharganj area. A trap was laid and at the instance of the informer,a Tata407 No.HR38E8959 was spotted coming from Badarpur side toward Aali Village Red light. The vehicle was intercepted and Narender Kumar (driver) s/o Ajeet Singh was apprehended. During search of Tata 407,177 Cartonsof “Royal Stag, Episode and Impact” brandwere recovered.

INTERROGATION & MODUS OPERANDI:-

On sustained interrogation,Narender Kumardisclosed that he has been driving Tata 407 of one Madan r/o Faridabad, Haryana on a payment ofRs.10,000/- per month. Narender Kumar used to receive Rs.700-800/- per trip for supplying the illicit liquor to Delhi. Madan used to pilot him in his Baleno car and use to lead him to his customers in Delhi. He had carried illicit liquor to Delhiseventimes prior to this episode. He had supplied illicit liquor in Delhi several times prior to this one. All the customers of Delhi are known to Madan. Madan used to unload the cartonsof illicit liquor from other vehicle to this Tata 407. He does not know the source of the liquor.

RECOVERY:-

  1. 47 cartons(total 2256 quarters) of English country made liquor of “Episode”brand(each containing 48 quarters, 180 ml)
  2. 15 cartons(total 360 quarters) of English country made liquor of “Episode”brand”(each containing 24 half, 375 ml)
  3. 90 cartons(total 4320 quarters) of English country made liquor of “Royal Stag”brand(each containing 48 quarters, 180 ml)
  4. 25 cartons(total 1200 quarters) of English country made liquor of “Impact”brand(each containing 48 quarters, 180 ml)
  5. One Tata 407No.HR38E8959.

PROFILE:-

Narender Kumar(age 29 years) s/o Ajeet Singh was born in VPO & PSBeri, Tehsil Jhajjar, Haryana.He isthe youngest of his two brothers and two sisters. He was only sixth months old when his mother expired.His elder brother Ramesh had also expired. He got his early education in Aanganwadi school in the village. He shifted to Faridabad, where his father used to work as machine operator in a Dental cable limited company. He studied up to class 8thstandard there from aGovernmentSchool. After dropping out, he fell in bad company and started supplying stolen cars to the suppliers of illicit liquor. He used to purchase stolen cars from Kishan and his friends and used to sell these stolen cars afterpreparing forged documents with the help of one Tafsir.He was earlier arrested with his associates with a stolen car vide FIR No. 10/09 u/s420/468/411/34 IPC & 25/25/59 Arms Act, PS Sangam Vihar, Delhi.

Soon after coming out on bail, he started working as driver in a transport company. One year back, he came in contact with Madan r/o Faridabad and used tosupplyhis illicit liquor from Bahadurgarh to Faridabad and sometimes to Delhi. After 3 months, he left the job and started working as driver in a Transport Company in old Faridabad. Since last one month, he has again started working with Madan. He had supplied illicit liquor of Madan in Delhiseveral times prior to this incident inthe areas of Shahdara and Paharganj. During each round of supplying of illicit liquor,Madan used to escort him in his private Baleno car. The recovered illicit liquor was supposed to be used for supplying among the voters during the forthcoming Assembly Election.

A team of Special Cell led by Inspector Subhash Vats and Insp. Govind Sharma under the supervision of Sh. Manishi Chandra Giri, ACP/NDR, Special Cell, has busted an Inter-State gang indulging in illegal firearm trade. The gang procured sophisticated firearms from Munger and sold them further to criminal elements in the area of Delhi and NCR. On 13.11.2013, two persons Harun, Age 26 years S/o Kutbur/oVillage Meemla, P.S Khandhla, Distt. Shamli, U.P and Zuber, Age 19 years s/o Nafees r/o Mohalla Khardiyan, Kabadi Bazar, P.S Kotwali Shamli, U.P were apprehended and from their possession 6 Pistols and 6 spare magazines were recovered. A FIR No. 08/2013 Dated 14.02.2013 u/s 25 Arms Act/120B/34 IPC PS Special Cell has been registered in this regard.

OPERATION:

On 13.11.2013, during the follow-up of the activities of gang active in the manufacturing, procuring and supply of the illegal arms manufactured in Munger, a secret information was received that two persons will come at Metro Station, Akshardham, Delhi for delivering illegal arms. Accordingly a trap was laid around Akshardham Metro Station. At about 1.50 PM above named two persons were come there and started waiting for someone. At about 2.00 PM when they started to move after receiving a telephone call they were apprehended. On Search of accused Harun, 4 pistols with 4 spare magazines were found kept in a bag in his possession. From the possession of accused Zuber 2 pistols with 2 spare magazines were recovered kept in a bag.

On interrogation of the accused persons it is revealed that illegal firearms are delivered to the contacts in Delhi and NCR. It is also learnt that the duo had to supply at least one such consignment every month in Delhi, Meerut, Muzaffar Nagar, UP etc. Harun has been earlier also procured and supplied arms. He has been arrested for supply of illegal arms in PS Indira Puram Ghaziabad UP.

PROFILE OF CRIMINALS:

Harun s/o Kutbu

Harun is 26 yrs old and is married and have three children. He studied up to 10th Standard. He belongs to a poor family. Earlier he used to work as labourer. About two years back, he came in contact with the criminals involved in supply of illegal arms from Munger. He has brought the consignment of illegal arms two times earlier also. In the year 2011, once he was arrested by Indira Puram Police in Gaziabad with 3 pistols. This time Harun along with his associate Zuber had procured arms from his Munger source and had come to supply the arms and was apprehended.

Zuber s/o Late Nafees

Zuber is 19 year old and is illiterate. He lost his parents in young age and was not able to study. He used to work as labourer in painting work with his brother. He befriended Harun, who used to procure illegal arms from Munger. Zuber was in need of money to start his own fabric business. He told his plan to Harun. Harun gave him proposal to earn quick money by procuring and supplying arms from Munger. Zuber readily agreed to the proposal. Harun promised him a commission of Rs 5,000/- for procuring and supplying illegal arms in Delhi and NCR.

Further investigation is in progress.

DRUG PEDDLERS ARRESTED

The staff of Police Station Rajouri Garden, West Districthas arrested two drug peddlers namely Keshab Barman and Gopal Sarkar and recovered 14.4 Kgsof Ganja from their possession.

INFORMATION/OPERATION & TEAM

Asecret information was received that some persons are indulging in trafficking of narcotics substances in thearea of P.S.RajouriGarden. On receipt of the information, a team of consisting ASI Ishwar Dayal, HC Anil Kumar 487/West, Ct.Vivek Kumar 1496/West and HC Sugan Singh 103/Westunder the close supervision of SHO/Police Station Rajouri Garden, Inspector Praveen Kumarwas constituted and they were deployed at strategic locations.

On 28.11.2013, at about 6.30 PM while they were deployed for Picket Duty in the area of PS Rajouri Garden they spotted two persons carrying plastic bags. They were signal to stop by the police but they tried to escape. They were immediately apprehended and on conducting their search 14.4 Kgs. Ganjas was recovered. A case vide FIR 751/13 dated 28.11.13 u/s 20/61/85 NPDS Act was registered in P.S.RajouriGarden and investigation has been taken up. Interrogation further reveals that accused Keshab Barman was earlier arrested in a case FIR No. 10/13 u/s 20/61/85 registered at PS Khyala and 3.6 Kgs. Ganja were recovered from his possession. Their modus of operandi was to bring Ganjas from their hometown and they used to sell in local market at the rate of Rs. 4000-4500 per Kg. Further, investigation about the source is continuing.

The Staff involved in good work is being rewarded suitably.

4 CASES OF BURGLARIES AND HOUSE THEFT WORKED OUT.

Special staff, South District has busted an interstate gang of burglars/dacoits. Two accused including gang leader namelyAamir Hussain (30 years) s/o Fazlu Rehman r/o Village Bastohara, PS Khalispur, District Khulla, Bangladesh (presently residing in Village Kishangarh, Delhi) and Mohd. Ibrahim Sheikh (37 years) s/o Abdul Kadir r/o H. No. 1043, Ward No. 8, Mehrauli, New Delhi have been arrested. With their arrest, stolen property worth several lacs of rupees including gold / silver jewelry, 2 expensive mobile phones, one LCD, 9 costly watches, 3 digital cameras, house breaking equipments, etc. have been recovered and 4 cases of day / night burglaries have so far been worked out.

Brief facts:

In order to prevent the incidents of burglary and house theft in the area of South District, a team consisting of SI Jeet Singh, SI Rajiv Bamel, ASIs Ashok, ASI Ram Kishan, HCs, Beer Singh, Vijay Kumar, Ashok Kumar, Ct. Vijay, Ct Naresh and Ct. Arjun led by Inspr. Rajinder Singh, I/C Special Staff under the close supervision of Sh. Kulwant Singh, ACP/Operations was constituted to apprehend the criminals involved in such activities.

The team members worked relentlessly and details of various jail / bail released criminal were verified. Secret sources were activated and criminal intelligence was developed. The team developed information about a gang of burglars led by notorious burglar Aamir Hussan who was involved in several incidents of burglaries and house theft in the different areas of Delhi and adjoining states. On 29.11.13, the team received specific information that gang leader Aamir Hussain along with his associates would come near Benito Marg, near Spring Field Public School, South Campus in the morning to commit crime. Immediately, the team laid traps near Spring Field School, South Campus and arrested two persons who were identified as Aamir Hussain and Mohd. Ibrahim Sheikh. On search, stolen gold / silver jewelry worth lacs of rupees, 2 expensive mobile phones, one LCD, 9 costly watches, 3 digital cameras, and house breaking equipments were recovered at their instance.

Interrogation:

During interrogation, accused persons confessed their involvements in several burglaries, house thefts, recently committed by them in the different areas of Gujarat, Rajasthan, Punjab and Bangalore. They disclosed that they are committing burglaries and house theft since 1993 and were earlier arrested by the police. They are wanted in several cases of Delhi, Rajasthan, Punjab and Bangalore.

1. Accused Aamir Hussain was born in 1983 in Bangladesh. He is a school dropout. He came to India in the year 1998 with some of his village boys for search of job. He started working as labour at the shop of a scrap dealer. Initially, he was arrested in case FIR No. 553/05 u/s 399/402 IPC PS Shahdra and remained in jail for nine months. He is previously involved in 26 cases of Arms Act and burglaries.

2.Accused Mohd. Ibrahim Sheikh was born in 1976 in his native village in West Bengal. He is a school dropout. He came to Delhi in 1991 with his relatives. He started residing at jhuggi near Yamuna and started working as scrap dealer. He was arrested by PS Vasant Vihar in 2001 in a dacoity case. He was also convicted in FIR No. 402/01 u/s 395/397 IPC PS Vasant Kunj (North) for 8 years. After releasing from the jail, he again started burglary and arrested by the police of Panipat (HR) and remained in jail for two months and presently released on bail. He is previously involved in following 13 cases of Arms act, burglary and dacoity.

ONE BURGLARALONG WITHONE RECEIVER OF STOLEN PROPERTYARRESTEDAND CASE PROPERTY RECOVERED : TWO JUVENILES ALSO APPREHENDED

BRIEF FACT:

The staff of Police Station Vijay Vihar Outer District have arrested one burglar namely(i) Amreesh S/o Ram SaranR/o O-2/4 Budh Vihar Phase I , Delhi and receiver of case property(ii) DeepakS/oOm PrakashR/o C-1/60 Sultan PuriDelhi, and 20 mobile, one frame of motor cycle , two gas cylinder, 26 Kg. scrap of copper wire and 5 tabswere recoveredfrom their possession. Two juveniles have also been apprehended. Sevencases ofBurglary and M.V. theft of PS Vijay Vihar, Outer District, Delhi, have been solved.

INCIDENT/INVESTIGATION:

On 28.11.2013, a secret information regarding two boys who are involved in burglary are loitering behind Babosa Mandir Budh Vihar Ph-I Delhi was received to SI Parveen. On the basis of this information a team comprising of SI Praveen Kumar No. D-4269, HC Tuka Ram Munde No. 1521/OD Ct. Surrender 2394/OD,under the leadership of Insp. R.C Dahiya, SHO/Vijay Vihar and under the close supervision of Sh. Shiv Dayal, ACP/Rohini Delhi was constitutedand two juveniles were apprehended. 17 mobile phones, a M/cycle chassis, two motor cycle tyres were recovered from their possession. On enquiry, they disclosed that they had committed theft in various places in the jurisdiction of PS Vijay Vihar and further disclosed that they along with Amrish S/o Sh. Ramsharan R/o O-2/4, Budh Vihar Ph-Ist, Delhi had committed burglary in the area of PS Vijay Vihar and sold the same to Deepak s/o Om Prakash r/o C-1/60, Sultan Puri Delhi. During investigation above said Deepak was arrested on the same day on their instance and stolen articles weighing 26 Kg. scrap of copper wire was recovered from his possession. During course of further investigation, Amrish S/o Sh. Ramsharan R/o O-2/4, Budh Vihar Ph-Ist, Delhi was arrested on 29.11.2013. further two gas cylinders and 3 mobile phones were recovered from his possession.
