The Governors and Children of Holy Trinity invite applications for the post of full-time Headteacher of our happy, nurturing and Outstanding (September 2013) church school following the retirement of our current Headteacher. This post carries a teaching commitment of 0.4 (2 day equivalent).
The person we are looking for will:
- promote and develop our strong Church school ethos;
- be an inspirational leader and team player with the ability to further develop our committed and hardworking staff;
- have a strong background and record of success in Foundation Stage and/or Key Stage 1;
- be an excellent classroom practitioner being able to lead by example;
- have high expectations of children’s achievement through our creative curriculum across the full range of school activities;
- have the vision to build on our current strengths and continue the process of school development and improvement within our small church school;
- have a strong commitment to leading by working in partnership with pupils, staff, parents, governors and the Church;
- have the ability to communicate effectively and sensitively with all members of our school community and maintain and advance the reputation of the school locally.
