Adobe Flash - Comic Cartoon with moving eyes

In this tutorial we will show you how to make a cartoon and show you how to move its pupils around.
Open a new document > Change the Stage color to any color you choose.

From the tools menu, choose the Oval Tool.

Drag and draw a circle or an oval image on your page in any color:

Add a new layer and add a little shine on the oval we just drew.

To do so, we need to select the Brush Tool and the color we desire, in this case, I chose white.

Now we will add a new layer for the cartoon eyes:

Let's choose the Oval tool again, now let’s draw the eyes:

To draw the eyes:

Select a Fill & Stroke color > Draw one eye > Select both fill and stroke > Press Alt Key > Click and drag a duplicate of the eye

~SAVE your Flash File~

Now we will need to add the pupils, so we will need to add a new layer.
After doing so, choose the paint brush and paint the pupils.

Select a Fill color > Draw one eye > Select pupil > Press Alt Key > Click and drag a duplicate of pupil

Now select both (shift key and select) of the pupils then right click and chose: convert to symbol

Convert it as a Movie Clip

Now we will need some extra frames, so we can make these pupils move.
So select the pupils layer, over at the timeline and choose frame 50: Right click>Insert frame

Select the eyes layer>Choose Frame 50>Right click>Insert Frame

*This will allow all item to Appear in Animation until Frame 50

REPEAT this process for the shine & head layers

Then we will need to add keyframes to the pupils.

Select frame number 10>right click over it>Insert Keyframe.

Now we will need to move the pupils up, down, left, or right:

REPEAT: Choose Frame 20> right click over it>Insert Keyframe>Move the pupils up, down, left, or right

Repeat the process for Frame 30, Frame 40, & Frame 50 > pupils up, down, left, or right

You can insert all the keyframes you desire, but remember each time you do so, you will need to move the pupils of the cartoon.

Result: Eyes will move back and forth and up and down.
