Michael Tsirelson

Summary:

I have been designing for usability since 1990, well before the term was coined. I’ve started with UI for embedded systems, then moved to CD-ROM-based apps, then to the web and, finally, to the world of mobile devices. I always passionately advocate intuitive user experience regardless of the underlying technology, use qualitative and quantitative research when possible, collaborate with all stakeholders: engineers, business managers, designers and writers to achieve the most user-friendly and harmonious solution.

I have a proven track record of utilizing industry best practices and design standards; working knowledge of modern UX methods, ability to translate customer insights into compelling creative online experiences, good conceptual and visual design skills, and thorough knowledge of cutting edge technologies.

I perform well under pressure with most aggressive deadlines by prioritizing and managing work to meet critical project timelines in a fast-paced environment (Agile/Scrum). I have a good understanding of various accessibility compliance requirements (for example, ADA). I’m a resourceful start-up person, serial problem solver and massive parallel thinker.
